Leaf and Pine

A lonely leaf from a great oak
Thought his life was a joke
Until he saw in the distance
A pine needle of lovely existence

The way she fluttered in the air
Made the oak leaf always stare
An example of perfection
Putting to shame all of creation

But as the season of fall came
The wind shook the oak leaf's frame
To the cold ground he fell
Now without her view, was in hell

But then by a miracle of fate
His love plummeted at a fast rate
Piercing into the leafs body
Finally together, they die

Selfish

A man without dignity
Craves everyone's pity
Lacks any scrutiny
Never feels guilty

He does what he can
To be the center man
Has no friends but wants fans
Only wears the latest pants

He screams and cries
He'll charm with grievous lies
Plays the fool , spits on the wise
Never achieves cause he never tries

Despite whatever he'll say
He's miserable in his ways
He'll be selfish always
Until the end of his days

Temperance

~  just a a little poem......not that great.

A man sitting in the dark
Like the dog who does not bark
Always ready for a fight
For he lacks any foresight

Thoughts of hate and anger
Never finding an answer
His sorrow ripping him asunder
To his rage he surrenders

His focus always narrow
A temper sharp as an arrow
His life ravaged by self pity
No peace in any city

So beware the evil man
Who does not have a plan
To deal with his pain
For to others he is a strain

Fatty

There once was a big cat
Whose girth was incredibly fat
On his butt he always sat
Never catching a bird or rat

He'd eat from his plate of food
Always in a lethargic mood
To everyone was always rude
Lazy, ugly, mean, and crude

Every day he ate and ate
Never dreaming of his fate
Until he was of enormous weight
Died with his face on a plate

Eh, Something about love........

Watching the stars above
I made a wish regarding love
That no matter what life would bring
I would always find the heart to sing

To always be able to carry a tune
And to sadness be immune
Guarding my soul from hate
Yet allowing love to get through

That my eyes may see
The people that care for me
Keeping my heart open
To the love in each moment

The Pup

I saw a puppy walk down the street
Carrying a large piece of meat
Then an eagle snatched his prize
With the pup making sad cries

Then I came over to the pup
Looking down, I picked him up
Offered him some fresh veal
Now he is happy with his meal

Gray Knight

Onward rode the gray knight
Straight into a furious fight
Clashing blades with the fiercest foes
His claymore inflicting mighty blows
With the strength of hundred men
Slaughters all one thousand and ten
Earns the victory with his strive
All comrades’ spirits revive

As the celebration ended
An invitation was then extended
To him to stay at local inn
Providing rest and refreshing gin
But a cunning beauty did reside
Desiring the bold knight inside
Seduced him with luscious charm
Using lust and pleasure to disarm

Her siren voice cast a spell
Causing his will to jell
Though all he felt was joy
He was just her little toy
By morning when he woke
She had vanished as smoke
Feeling only a loveless pain
Vowed never to love again

Though in combat he grew faster
In manners of love he was no master
His heart was cold and tough
Concerning love he had enough
Never a woman did he court
Sealing himself in reclusive fort
Forever marching to the next war
Feeling pain and suffering forevermore
