A lonely leaf from a great oak
Thought his life was a joke
Until he saw in the distance
A pine needle of lovely existence
The way she fluttered in the air
Made the oak leaf always stare
An example of perfection
Putting to shame all of creation
But as the season of fall came
The wind shook the oak leaf's frame
To the cold ground he fell
Now without her view, was in hell
But then by a miracle of fate
His love plummeted at a fast rate
Piercing into the leafs body
Finally together, they die
